| Who Benefits?: |
Proceeds from the 2011 Union CC Run with the Owls 5K Race and Walk will provide desperately needed scholarship funds for running club students and funds to support the running club. The running club encourages and supports students to live a fit life style by promoting proper exercise with appropriate nutrition as well as fostering healthy team competition.

7:30 a.m.: Registration
9:00 a.m.: 5K Run
9:15 a.m.: 2 Mile Walk
10:00 a.m.: Kids’ Sprints (ages 2-11)
ENTRY FEES ( Must be postmarked by May 14 ):
5K or Walk, By 5-16:$20. (2011 USATF members $18),
Union CC Students, Faculty, Staff: $15.
All registrants after 5-16 & on race day: $25.
Kids’ Sprints: $7.
OWLS KIDS" SPRINT
Our Kids’ Sprints will be fast and furious. Open to all children, ages, 2-11, The sprints range in distance from 25 to 200 yards. All kids get a finishers ribbon as well as snacks and a Tee shirt. So come on, Mom and Dad. Bring
the kids for a great time at the Union CC Run with the Owls.
COURSE:
USATF certified 5K on local roads and paved paths in beautiful Nomahegan Park. Mile Clocks. Water Stops
AWARDS:
5K Awards ( Male & Female ) 1,2,3 Overall, Union CC Students, Union CC Staff/Faculty; Age Groups- 14 & Under to 85 & Over
Kids’ Sprints- Finishers Ribbons
AMENITIES:
Run with the Owls Tee, Refreshments, DJ, Random Prizes, Kids’ Activities.

Garden State Parkway ( North or South ). Exit 138. ( Kenilworth ) Left off of exit onto Kenilworth Boulevard ( CR - 509 ). Go 2.3 miles. Turn left at light onto Springfield Avenue. ( CR-615 ) College is 1/4 mile on left. Follow race parking signs.
Route 22 ( East or West ). Exit at Springfield Avenue ( CR-509 Spur ) Follow signs ( east ) toward Westfield. Go through 4 traffic lights. Just before the 5th traffic light, turn right onto the Springfield Avenue continuance. Turn into the College at the 1st traffic light. Follow Race Parking signs.
