What is Chi Running?: |
A natural running technique based on the movement principles of T'ai Chi. Chi Running encourages you to tap into the energy that unites your mind, body & spirit. The technique reduces injury and improves running efficiencies while applying the principles of: relaxation, correct alignment and posture, mid-foot strike, using gravity-assisted lean and engaging core strength. |
Program Description:: |
This 4-week introductory program will review the basic principles of Chi Running and include running drills and exercises to learn technique and form. |
Workout Time / Location:: |
Our sessions will begin promptly at 6:30pm at Verona Park. Our group will meet on the pathway near the boat house - opposite the tennis courts. Sessions will last 1 hour.
