Barn-B-Q Trail Festival: Run, Hike, & BBQ is held annually at the beautifully restored Masker's Barn in the historic Deserted Village of Feltville nestled within Union County's wooded oasis Watchung Reservation. Choose to run or hike from 2-12 miles, casual or competitive, guided or on your own and then return to celebrate the day with a cold beer and hot-off-the-grill BBQ at the Festival Party also featuring fun tunes and a variety of games. | 2020 Safety Statement: |
The coronavirus means business! We won't let it win...but we will negotiate to keep the peace. We are super excited to be able to host our annual Barn-B-Q in this very very strange year! I'm sure you feel as cooped up and yearning for a fun event as we do. We will only carry on with event day plans as long as it feels safe to do so from our logistical standpoint and as long as we are able to operate within the State and County regulations. We intend to keep our capacity well below the Governor's outdoor gathering limit of 500 and will only be opening up the Barn doors to the first 100 registrants* (as of 8/17/20 this is our tentative capacity which may be slightly increased or reduced as we further evaluate the venue space). We are implementing numerous safety measures which appear at www.barnbqtrailrun.com/2019-updates.html and are updated as necessary.

Sign up for our traditional All-Inclusive Barn-B-Q ticket to attend for 5 hours of fun, trail runs or hikes, BBQ, beer/wine/seltzers, games, tunes, and all around good times. This also includes your souvenir tech tee!
Sign up for our new competitive wave, Sprint & Split, if you want to run at a real live event, be timed, see your posted results, celebrate with an adult beverage and light refreshments and then head on out for the day. This also includes your souvenir tech tee! |
