Barn-B-Q Trail Festival: Run, Hike, & BBQ is held annually at the beautifully restored Masker's Barn in the historic Deserted Village of Feltville nestled within Union County's wooded oasis Watchung Reservation. Choose to run or hike from 2-12 miles following one of our suggested maps or choose your own path and then return to celebrate the day with a cold beer, wine, or hard seltzer and hot-off-the-grill BBQ at the Festival Party also featuring fun tunes and a variety of games. As always, the Barn-B-Q Gods have challenged us! This year with ongoing ambitious trail renovations at Watchung Reservation, we are not allowed to offer official marked trail runs or guided hikes. The trails remain open to the public however and we are determined to carry on with our Barn-B-Q tradition! We will have printed maps/directions/online maps available for previously used routes from 2 - 12 miles, but due to County restrictions we can not send a large group out together. We will keep you informed of any trails that may not be accessible on Saturday, September 4th and offer alternative routes as needed. Same ol' Barn-B-Q fun and chaos! |
| Ways to play!: |
Sign up for our traditional All-Inclusive Barn-B-Q ticket to attend for 5 hours of fun, self-led trail runs or hikes, BBQ, beer/wine/seltzers, games, tunes, and all around good times. This also includes your souvenir tee!
Add-on the Barn Games Pentathlon and test your skills against your fellow Barn-goers! There will also be open games to play, but the pentathlon is for the Big Win!
