About The Fred d'Elia Ridgewoo: |
Celebrating its 30th consecutive year, the Fred d'Elia Ridgewood Run remains one of the oldest and most popular running events in NJ. The successful event is organized by the North Jersey Masters Track & Field Club and is proud to have Park Ave BMW as title sponsor once again. This year the event boasts the additional honor of hosting the 2005 USATF-NJ Masters Women 5K Grand Prix Championship. The 5K will offer 700 championship points with the 10K putting 500 points up for grabs. A Memorial Day tradition for families and friends, the event attracts over 3500 participants, from world-class athletes to the weekend warrior. This year is guaranteed to be one of the most spectacular and memorable races ever. The field limit is 4000, so register early!! |

Qualifying times apply only to the Masters and Elite Miles. they are as follows:

There will be NO same day registration for the 10k, 5k, Masters Mile, or Elite Mile!!! There IS same day registration for the Fun Run only.

10K or 5K - $23 USATF-NJ member/$25 non-member Both 10K & 5K - $33 USATF-NJ member/$35 non-member Wheelchair 10k - $18 Masters and Elite Mile - $15 Youth Fun Run/Health Walk (1 Mile)- $13 with T-shirt, $5 without T-shirt.
*There is a $2 entry fee discount for USATF-NJ members for the 5K and 10K Races only. |
Grand Prix: |
Both the 10K and 5K are USATF-NJ sanctioned events. The 10K is worth 500 points and the 5K is worth 700 points and is featured as a USATF-NJ state championship. |
Charities: |
Proceeds from the Ridgewood Run are distributed to: The United Way, Social Service Association, Family Counseling Service, College Club and other local charitable organizations. |
Awards: |
5k and 10K: 5-year age group awards (top three in each 5-year age group to 70+) and gift certificates from New Balance North Jersey. 5K only: top 5 immediate-family teams with the sum of 3 fastest times (register on race day, up to 1/2 hour before the start). Prize money schedule listed below. |
