The Rachel Coalition, organizers and beneficiary of the Run for Rachel, is a grass roots consortium of nine Northern New Jersey community organizations representing over 10,000 people.
The Rachel Coalition provides many vital services in the community, including an emergency Safe House, individual and group counseling, community education and a 24 hour crisis intervention hotline. Please call 973-765-9050 for further information. |

Run For Rachel is the 2005 USATF-NJ Women's Open 5K Championship. It is a 700 point NBGP event.
Prize Money: Women [USATF-NJ] members only: 1st-$300.; 2nd-$250.; 3rd-$200.; 4th-$150.; 5th-$125.; 6th-$100.; 7th-$75.
Awards:Top 3 overall & age groups, male & female.
Age Groups 14 & under to 75 & over in 5 year increments.
Top Livingston resident, male & female.
Ribbon to all Walk and Kids' Run finishers.
Prizes to those adult, child & team who raise the most money through pledges. |

Course: The 5K USATF certified, out and back, flat and rolling, residential. Mile splits, water stops.
Amenities: Goodie pack[ pre-registrants only-register early], T-shirts guaranteed for all pre-registrants and post registrants while supplies last, random prize drawings.

From Garden State Parkway: Exit 145 to 180 West, Exit at 5A. Bear right as you exit traveling along Livingston Ave. Go to 5th traffic light (about 2 ½ miles). Turn right into Memorial Park.
From Route 10: Route 10 East to Livingston Circle, Continue straight on Rt. 10 after the Circle to the 3rd light, South Livingston Ave. Turn right. Continue 3 more lights to Memorial Park on the right.
