This extremely competitive 10K promises a stellar field comprised of the finest international and regional runners, extremely fast times and superb runner amenities. The goal is to spotlight the shops, residences and restaurants of Newport Town Square, a truly spectacular waterfront location.

From Manhattan:
Take the Holland Tunnel. Upon exiting in Jersey City, make the first right turn at the Hess service station. Then make a right turn at 18th Street and enter Newport. 18th Street becomes Washington Boulevard. Proceed south on Washington Boulevard to Newport Parkway. Make a left on Newport Parkway to River Drive South. Turn right on River Drive South. Proceed to Town Square Park.
From New Jersey:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 14C. As you come down from the ramp, make a right at Jersey Avenue and then bear left onto the 11th Street Viaduct. Viaduct becomes Newport Parkway. Pass Newport Centre Mall on right. Cross Washington Boulevard and remain on Newport Parkway to River Drive South. Turn right on River Drive South and proceed to Town Square Park.
Path Trains:
Take the Path Train marked Journal Square, Newark at 33rd Street/Herald Square, 23rd Street , 14th Street, 9th Street or Christopher Street to Pavonia/Newport Station. Exit at Pavonia Avenue. Turn left. Walk to River Drive South and Town Square Park.
Ferry Service:
Take the New York Waterway Ferry at West 38th Street and 12th Avenue. The Ferry Terminal at Newport is located on the Tennis Court Pier East or River Drive South. Walk west to Town Square Park. |
