About The Fred d'Elia Ridgewoo: |
Celebrating its 31st consecutive year on Monday, May29th, the Fred d'Elia Ridgewood Run remains one of the oldest and most popular running events in NJ. This successful event is organized by the North Jersey Masters Track & Field Club and is proud to have Park Ave BMW as title sponsor once again. The 5K and 10K will offer 500 USATF-NJ Grand Prix points. A Memorial Day tradition for families and friends, the event attracts over 3500 participants, from world-class athletes to the weekend warrior. Due to the popularityof the event, there is NO same dayregistration for the 5K, 10K, or Mile. Only the Fun Run and Stroll 'n Roll has same day registration. The field limit is CLOSED at 4000, so register early!! The CFF Expo will be held Sunday, May 28th from 4-6pm. Pick up your,bib, chip, t-shirt and goody bag if registered by May 22. Come meet Tom Fleming from 5-6pm, 2 time NYC marathon champion and youngest winner with a 2:12 PR. See you soon! |

5k and 10K: 5-year age group awards (top three in each 5-year age group to 70+) and gift certificates from New Balance North Jersey. 5K only: top 5 immediate-family teams with the sum of 3 fastest times (register on race day, up to 1/2 hour before the start). Prize money schedule listed below. |
Grand Prix: |
Both the 10K and 5K are USATF-NJ sanctioned events. Both events are worth 500 USATF-NJ Grand Prix points. |

Qualifying times apply only to the Masters and Elite Miles. they are as follows:
Masters Mile: Male 5:00, Female 6:00 Elite Mile: Male 4:30, Female 5:30

10K or 5K - $23 USATF-NJ member/$25 non-member Both 10K & 5K - $33 USATF-NJ member/$35 non-member Wheelchair 10k - $18 Masters and Elite Mile - $15 Youth Fun Run/Health Walk (1 Mile)- $13 with Youth T-shirt, $5 without T-shirt. Stroll 'n Roll (1 Mile)- $13 with Adult T-shirt, $5 without T-shirt.
*Family Discount-$3 off per person, for 3 or more family members when registering for the 5K or 10K at the Ridgewod YMCA.
*There is a $2 entry fee discount for USATF-NJ members for the 5K and 10K Races only. |
Charities: |
Proceeds from the Ridgewood Run are distributed to: The Village of Ridgewood Parks &Recreation Department, the Social Service Association, College Club and other local charitable organizations and scholarship recipients. |
Directions: |
*If arriving late for the 5K, please choose an alternate route other than Ridgewood Avenue. The 10K race closes that road periodically.
Route 17 North to Ridgewood Ave exit. Head west approximately 2 miles to race site.
Route 17 South to Sheridan Ave exit, to North Maple Ave. Turn right, 2 miles to race site.
Route 208 North or South to Maple Ave. exit. North 2 miles to race site.
