| THE EVENT: |
20 years and counting! Since 1987, the Woodcliff Lake Run for Education has been a calendar priority for North Jersey runners and their families. Those who attend annually know what a special event awaits them each year: The food, the prizes, the music, the Tot Trot…. Each participant has a favorite. And you will too!
The 2006 Woodcliff Lake Run for Education features a 10K course that crosses the reservoir and our fast 5K course that has produced very fast times. Both offer a challenging, scenic test to each runner. Yes, we have hills, but they're SCENIC hills! Also on tap are the Fun Run, Health Walk and Tot Trot. And every 20th finisher in the 10K and 5K will receive a 20th Anniversary Woodcliff Lake Run for Education hat.
So don't forget to bring the family, as there is something for everyone. Just 5 minutes off the GSP--the start line awaits you.

Course:
USATF-NJ NBGP - 500 point race
10K crosses the Woodcliff Lake Reservoir. Challenging, USATF certified, scenic, residential. The 5K remains very fast.
Awards: 10K & 5K: Top 3 overall and age groups, male & female. 5 year age groups, 14 & under to 75+ over.
Fun Run: Top 3 girls & boys: K-1, 2&3, 4&5, 6&7; certificates to all finishers.
Tot Trot: Special prizes to all. |

The Woodcliff Lake Educational Foundation is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in our children's schools. To date, WCLEF has raised over $500,000 through generous personal and corporate donations. We strive to enhance and enrich our children's learning with an environment of outstanding intellectual and technological stimulation where our children can thrive.
Projects Supported: WCLEF also collaborates with the PFA, our partner to achieve programs for our children. Below are just some of the projects supported and funded by the WCLEF:
$10,000 annually for new library books
$50,000 for new Dorchester Elementary School playground
$50,000 for new Dorchester Library renovation
$50,000 for new Woodcliff School Media Center for computer equipment

Garden State Parkway (Northbound Only)--GSP North to exit 171/Woodcliff Lake. Left onto Glen Road. Left at 1st light onto Chestnut Ridge Road. Proceed 1/2 mile (just past Ingersoll Rand). *Left onto Saddle River Road. At stop sign, make right onto Werimus Road. Make 2nd left onto Woodcliff Avenue. Dorchester School is 1/4 mile ahead on left (Learning Lane).
From Westchester and points North of Woodcliff Lake-- NY State Thruway South to GSP South. Take Schoolhouse Road exit. Left at stop sign onto Spring Valley Road. At 1st light, right onto Summit Avenue. At 2nd light, left onto Chestnut Ridge road. Proceed three miles past Ingersoll Rand. * Follow directions above.
From Rt. 17 (North or South)--Woodcliff Lake/Saddle River exit (East Allendale Road eastbound to end, 2.5 miles). Right onto Old Chestnut Ridge Road. At flashing yellow light (1/2 mile), make left onto Woodcliff Lake Road. Right onto Saddle River Road.
