| Who Benefits?: |
The Borough of Roselle and the Roselle Fire Department have again designated the St. Barnabas Burn Foundation as the beneficiary of the Roselle 21st Century 5K. The 21st Century Committee is pleased to lend its support to those individuals and families whose lives have dramatically changed due to the devastation of serious burn injuries. The Roselle Public Library will also benefit.
Your participation will result in sustained research, expanded medical care and improved patient outreach programs. And you’ll have a lot of fun in doing so. Hope to see you on June 11th.

| The Event: |
The food’s the thing – And the neat course – And the prizes – And the music. What a great way to spend a Sunday evening. The Borough of Roselle is your host for this hidden gem. Now in its seventh year, the event has a 1 mile fun run/walk, and the fire truck that sprays you in the 5K is very welcome on a warm June night.
Make sure you stay for the post race festivities including the fabulous pasta buffet provided by The Sphinx Restaurant, DJ music by Nightmoves and a super random prize drawing. Police, firefighter and Jr. ROTC runners encouraged.
The Roselle 21st Century 5K, located 5 minutes from Garden State Parkway exit 137 is a lot of fun. Don’t miss it. And, make sure to bring your kids!

| Awards and Team Divisions:: |
5K: Top three overall Male & Female and top three Male & Female in each age group[5 year increments; 14 & under to 75 & over]
Ist Male & Female:Firefighter; Police Officer; Roselle resident.
1 Mile Awards: Ribbons to all finishers in 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Teams: First Team - Open and Junior ROTC Teams: Up to five runners per team. Top 3 finishers score. Teams must pre-register by 6/1.

The Borough of Roselle and the Roselle Chamber of Commerce welcome each of you to our 7th annual 5K road race. We hope to continue the tradition of a safe, fun and competitive event. Each of our planned events benefits a worthy cause that provides valuable service to our community.

Try a fast 5K on a Sunday night in June.The USATF certified course is a 500 point NBNJ Grand Prix event run on a safe, traffic controlled course through residential neighborhoods. Clocks at each mile. Water stops.
