| WHO BENEFITS?: |
The 2007 5K will mix the old with the new. As in the past, part of the proceeds will go to providing additional funding to the Hackensack High School track program.
The Hackensack Run and THE RECORD will again be supporting ACTION AGAINST HUNGER. Runners and walkers are asked to bring cans of non-perishable food. We appreciate your help. And, the community at large will reap benefits from attending the Interactive Health Expo.

Fees:$17, [USATF Members $15,] $20 after 10/8 and on race day.
Schedule:
Registration/Packet Pick-up; 7:45AM-9:15AM
5K Race, 1.5 Mile Walk: 9:30AM
Awards: Top 3 overall. Male & Female
Top 3 Hackensack residents. Male & Female
Top 3 male & female in each age group:
14&under, 15-19, then 5 year increments to 80 & over.
No duplicate awards
PLEASE - NO DOGS, BABYSTROLLERS OR ROLLERBLADERS.
The course is USATF certified, flat and fast loop. Only 7 turns.
Clock at each mile.
Water stops.
Course closes after 45 minutes.
Participants will enjoy The Hackensack Run T-shirt, DJ, random prizes, and refreshments .

From Route 80: Route 80 East to exit 66[Hackensack, Little Ferry]. Make left at stop sign, go two blocks and make left onto Hudson St. Go two blocks and make right onto Kennedy St. Make next left onto River St. Travel one mile to 150 River St.[Record building]. Look for race signs.
From New York City: George Washington Bridge: Route 80 west[local lanes to exit 66[Hackensack, Little Ferry]. Follow above directions to race. Lincoln/Holland Tunnel: Take NJ Turnpike North towards GW Bridge, take route 80 West and follow above directions to race.
