Jersey Battered Women's Service offers dating abuse prevention programs and is the only non-profit agency in Morris County that specifically serves domestic violence victims and their families.
JBWS provides extensive services including:
24 Hour Crisis Hotline - A Safe House - Transitional Living Programs - Non-Residential Counseling - Legal Advocacy - Batterer's Intervention and Referrals - Community Outreach and Education - Domestic Violence Response Teams - Bilingual Services/ Latina Services

THE EVENT:
What's the recipe for a fun and successful road race? I think you'll all agree that you need a great course, terrific amenities, a worthy cause and lots of fun. Well, the SAFE DATING CHALLENGE has it all.
The course at the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station is scenic, traffic free and runs through the beautiful college campus and on the paved Traction Line Trail. Amenities? You will be very impressed from the giveaways to the great food to the Atlantic Wellness Health Fair. And just wait until you see our Safe Dating Challenge sweatshirt. REMEMBER, I SAID VERY IMPRESSED!, and over 500 participants from 2007 will agree.
And, the event will help to raise awareness of healthy relationships.
So, join us at the noon starting line on Sunday, October 26. Easy to find via Routes 287 or 24. You can choose from our 5K run, the 1.5 mile walk or the Kids Races for ages 2-12. |

Directions from Bergen/Passaic Counties: From Bergen/Passaic Counties--I-80 West to I-287 South ( Morristown ) to Exit 37 onto Route 24 East to Exit 2A ( Route 510 West ).. Follow ** below.
Directions From South Jersy via GSP: GSP North to Exit 142. Move to the right toll booth and bear right onto I-78 East. Take the first exit (54) and follow to enter 78 West. Road will divide. Stay to the right (Rt. 24, Morristown ). Take Route 24 Exit 2A ( Route 510 West ). Follow ** below.
Directions from Newark International Airport: Take I-78 West to Rt. 24 West (Morristown.) Take Exit 2A ( Route 510 West ). Follow ** below.
Directions from Somerset County: Take I-287 North to Exit 35. Stay left on ramp. Turn left onto South Street. Take the first right at the sign for 124 East then next right onto 124 East. Move to right lane. Turn left onto Punch Bowl Road. Turn right onto Park Avenue. Campus entrance is first right.
Follow**: ** After ramp, move to far left lane to make left turn at first traffic light (Park Avenue.) Proceed on Park Avenue for .7 miles ( past two traffic lights ) to campus entrance on right just before third traffic light. Park behind St. Joseph Hall.
