Run starts in Village Park, winding along the Lawrence-Hopewell trail into Mercer County Park Northwest, then back into Village Park. The course is fast, and also picturesque. We believe this is the first certified course in the new Mercer County Park.
Fundraising:
The run is a fundraiser for two causes: Adath Israel Congregation and Nothing but Nets, an organization whose goal is to help combat malaria, primarily in Africa. Proceeds will be split evenly between the two, but a matching grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation (according to the NothingButNets website) doubles the amount that Nothing But Nets receives.
